If You Need Us, Send a Pigeon

Heyyyy familia!
We have P-day today(Wednesday) instead of Monday because we're going to the temple(yay!), so it's been like a week and a half since my last letter. More exciting events this week, though it was a little slower than last week
Hermana Garbett turned 20! Fun to make her cupcakes and everything. I'll be turning 20 soon too that's super weird. One of our investigators also had a birthday last week and we set up that we would all fast the day in between their birthdays haha. I'm learning about the power of fasting and we're trying to help him receive and recognize his answer about the truthfulness of the gospel of Jesus Christ. And the Book of Mormon, and the prophet Joseph Smith :)
While trying to figure out how to explain it to other people this week, I learned a lot about faith. Faith is a principle of action and power. We must act first and then we receive the witness! I decided it's like a car, if we expect God to help us and answer us but we do not act, it's like pushing on the gas pedal with the car off. Faith and action, like turning the ignition, will provide the power for you to move forward. So true! God is good.
Ok I have like no time but other exciting thing, some of our investigators agreed to get married!! Yay! So now we have to plan a wedding, yikes haha.
OH funny story! To explain my title, we lost our phone this week. For like two days, AHH it was hard haha. But, blessings, we already had some lessons planned and we couldn't get messages that someone canceled on us, so when we got there at the appointed time, she let us in anyway haha. The first night we realized we lost it we had to call on a neighbor's phone telling our mission leaders that we were in for the night. They were super worried about us so it was nice to know we are loved! So the next couple days us and other missionaries would tell each other, well, if you need us, send a pigeon. LOL. And GUESS WHERE the phone was? We ended up figuring out "find my phone" and we saw it was literally on the side of the road!! We rushed over with the Sister Training Leaders in their car and it was still there!! No one picked it up. No one ran over it. It even had some battery left. MIRACLES. When does that happen? God sent angels to protect something as simple as a missionary phone because there are important souls for us to contact on there.
Love you all, believe in miracles and act in faith!
