God Brings You Low to Bring You Higher

Ok Fam!

  First, I'm sorry my last two letters have been lame and short and if I seemed kind of bummed out. I want my letters to encourage and uplift all of you! Of course missionary life isn't easy and I won't pretend it is, but still. This week has been very very eventful! First things, transfer calls!! And....I'M STAYING. Against everything I thought would happen Hermana Coleman is the one getting transferred and I'm staying in my first area! Let's go 6 months in my first area what?! I've been preparing myself to leave but it was not to be. Time to trust God that He has more for me to do here! 

  My companion was super sad though, this weekend has been full of crying with our investigators and members. Ok I didn't give myself a lot of time again so I'll try to give some highlights from the week. First, we had exchanges with the Sister Training Leaders at the beginning of the week and it changed my life literally. I just had a lot of good realizations about how I just need to focus on LOVING others and not on stress. I've been feeling a lot better lately. I know the Lord is at the helm and he still does his work despite my weaknesses. I found a new favorite scripture, 3 Nephi 28:9-10 "...for ye have desired that ye might bring the souls of men unto me, while the world shall stand. And for this cause ye shall have fulness of joy; and ye shall sit down in the kingdom of my Father; yea, your joy shall be full" I desire that fullness of joy a lot!

  I've been feeling a little bit of that because we had some amazing experiences this week. We put two couples we've been teaching on date on Saturday in a really powerful lesson where after we invited them to be baptized one of them said, ok so what do I have to do to be baptized like what?? We also had [B]'s baptism on Saturday which was just a miracle, especially that her whole family came and then came to church and we started teaching her dad the next day! Great opportunities for them! Ok, gotta go, love you all!
